Volkswagen Atlas
The Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport have both been refreshed for 2024, adding LED lighting up front as well as illuminated VW logos, in keeping with other redesigned models in the lineup.
If you’re looking for more cosmetic changes still, there’s a new Peak Edition available on the 7-seater Atlas. It adds a more rugged exterior with revised front and rear fascias as well as new rocker panels. There are also swollen wheel arches wrapped around all-terrain tires. That trim joins Comfortline, Highline and Execline trims, which are the same for both the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport models.
Inside, we find a larger infotainment display that now measures 12 inches as standard, while a new 10.25-inch digital display sits ahead of the driver. There are also higher-quality materials inside, new ambient lighting and a Harmon Kardon Premium sound system.
Only one engine is available for the Atlas, and that’s a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder good for 269 hp and 273 lb-ft, which is slightly less horsepower that the outgoing V6 but slightly more torque, and more power and torque that the previously available turbo-4.
